The mess

Sounds familiar?

The ice cream cone, hands on its head, among papers, a tangled cable and cassettes.

Dropbox links everywhere. Which one is the master?

A website that is never quite up to date.

Five services, five logins, five monthly fees.

The promo went out. Did anyone actually listen?

Every channel needs the post, the picture and the date. Again.

“Where’s the WAV of GH-042?” — every artist, every month.

None of this is music. All of it eats your week.

What you get

One place

Catalogue, audio, promo, socials, newsletter, demos, events, mixes, search, your AI assistant. One login. Your label, your domain, your data.

Tap a card to see it in action.

A vinyl record sliding itself into a shelf. Catalogue and website Your catalogue files itself.

Every release, artist, mix and event lives in one admin, and the public site follows along. Cover, tracklist, previews, buy and stream buttons for Beatport, Traxsource, Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and Discogs. Paste a link and the platform is recognised. Your house style, your colours, your fonts, your domain.

A cassette tape in a sauna with a towel around its neck. Audio Drop the master. We do the sweating.

Point the platform at your masters, in Dropbox or a folder. It makes the 320 kbps MP3 for the promo pack, a private preview, a public 60-second clip and the waveform. Masters are never served to the public. Ever.

A carrier pigeon wearing headphones, holding a clipboard. Promo mailing Send it. See who actually listened.

Pick a release, pick your groups (DJs, press, radio, blogs, playlists), write the mail, send. Every recipient gets their own listening page: stream every track, read the text, see the release date and buy links, download MP3 or WAV if you allow it, and leave feedback: a rating, a “will support”, a comment. Every action is logged, per recipient: opened, played, downloaded, feedback. Sent from your own domain, set up the way inboxes like it: SPF, DKIM, DMARC.

A pair of headphones giving a thumbs up. DJ feedback See who supports it. Share what you like.

On their listening page a DJ leaves a rating, a “will support” and a line or two. It lands on your dashboard next to the release, with who played and who downloaded. You choose which quotes go on the release page. Nothing is published by itself.

A mailbox wearing sunglasses. Demos and contact Demos in, questions in, chaos out.

One form on your site for demos and plain messages. Everything lands in an inbox with a status: new, listened, shortlist, rejected, signed. Notes, a play button, and a mail to you for every new one. No captcha; a honeypot and rate limits keep the bots out.

An alarm clock wearing a party hat. Announcements Announce it once. It goes live by itself.

Give a release a date and the site shows it as announced, with pre-order buttons. On release day it goes live by itself, and everything that mentions it is updated with it: the homepage, the artist page, the catalogue. You set it once.

The ice cream cone holding a phone with a reel playing. Every release, ready to post Cut, captioned, ready to post.

Every release comes with its social set, made in one go: Instagram feed, story and reel, TikTok, Facebook, X. Cover, waveform, twenty seconds of audio, a caption in your tone. Download, post. Posting straight to your channels comes after.

The ice cream cone holding a walkie-talkie. Your AI assistant Tell it what you want. It’s in.

“Create GH-091, out October 2, here’s the Dropbox folder, send the promo to the premium DJs and show me the text first.” Say it to Claude or ChatGPT and it happens in your label. Sending and publishing always ask you first.

A disco ball holding a calendar. Newsletter, events and mixes Fans in the loop. Gigs on the site before the flyer dries.

Newsletter sign-up with double opt-in and an unsubscribe link in every mail. Events with flyer, line-up and ticket link, upcoming and past. Mixes from SoundCloud, Mixcloud and YouTube, the latest one playing right on the homepage.

How it flows

How it flows

From master to mailout, in five steps.

  1. 1

    Create the release

Catalogue number, date, artists, cover, links. A checklist tells you what’s still missing.

  2. 2

    Audio takes care of itself

Point at the masters. MP3s, previews, clips and waveforms appear while you make coffee.

  3. 3

The site is up to date

Announced with pre-order buttons now, live on release day. It updates itself, and so does everything that points to it.

  4. 4

    Send the promo

Pick the groups, write the mail, send. Everyone gets their own listening page, fully managed.

  5. 5

    Results come back

Who opened, who played, who downloaded, who’ll support. On your dashboard, not in your inbox.

Guesthouse Music

Oakland, house music, a catalogue going back two decades.

Guesthouse Music runs on SLS. Its whole catalogue was imported from Bandcamp, Beatport and Discogs, cleaned up, de-duplicated, and enriched with Traxsource links, covers and previews. Yours can be next.

Done properly

Done properly

The part you shouldn’t have to think about. Here it is anyway, because it’s the part that keeps you sleeping.

A safe sunbathing in a deckchair.
Hosted in the EU
Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg, Germany. Your site runs in its own container that can’t touch anyone else’s files.
Your data stays in Europe. A neighbour’s problem is never yours.
HTTPS, always
Certificates are requested and renewed automatically. HTTP/3 included.
No padlock warnings, no renewal reminders, nothing to click.
Backed up nightly
The database every night, kept for seven days. Everything, including covers and audio, on the first of the month, kept for three months. A snapshot of the whole machine every night on top.
“The backup was from 2019” never happens here.
Restores are rehearsed
Every backup is integrity-checked after it’s made. Restoring from a monthly archive has been done for real, and the catalogue came back complete.
A backup you’ve never restored is a hope. This one is a plan.
Someone is watching
A status dashboard per site, a report every Monday morning, a maintenance round every month with a fixed checklist. A missed backup shows up as an action item the next morning.
Things get noticed before you notice them.
Locked down
Key-only login, root disabled, firewall with only web and admin traffic open, automatic blocking of repeated login attempts, security updates installed automatically.
The boring, unglamorous stuff that stops most attacks.
Mail from your own domain
Promo and newsletter go out from a sender domain that’s yours, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up at onboarding. Bounces and unsubscribes are kept, permanently.
Your reputation is yours. Nobody else’s list can spoil it.
No trackers
No analytics scripts, no third-party fonts, no cookies for visitors. The only external things on your site are the players your visitors choose to press play on.
A fast site, and a privacy page you can actually read out loud.
Your data, readable
One database file per label. Texts stored as Markdown. Contacts and results exported to CSV whenever you like.
If you ever leave, you leave with everything. We’d rather you didn’t, but that’s on us.
Masters stay private
Masters are never served to the public. Listening pages stream through a token that is unique per recipient, and downloads happen only if you allow them, and are logged.
Your unreleased music doesn’t leak because of a link.
Pricing

Pay for the scoops you eat

One setup fee. After that, you pay for what you use, close to what it costs us, with a mark-up you can see on the invoice. No bundles, no tiers, no “from”.

A set of scales weighing scoops of ice cream, one scoop per use.

Setup, once

€ 1,000

We import your catalogue (Bandcamp, Beatport, Discogs, Traxsource), set up your house style, domain and mail (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), import and verify your contact list, create your admins, and walk you through it. One amount, known up front.

Then, usage

Promo to 300 DJs twice a month plus a newsletter to 1,500 fans is about 2,100.

Per month€11.10
List check at import, once€1.80
Setup, once€1,000.00
  • We pick the cheapest providers that are solid, and build the best integrations on top.
  • The mark-up is on the invoice, not hidden in it.
  • A monthly statement that shows where every euro went.

Fifty releases or four hundred: you pay for what you have. For most labels the monthly usage lands in the tens of euros. The setup is the only serious amount, and that’s work you can see.

Why

Labels don’t fail because of the music. They drown in the rest: links, files, lists, sites that lag behind, promos nobody can track.

We built SLS to take that away. Automation and AI go where creativity isn’t needed, so your time goes where it is.

Pay for what you use. Own your data. Let magic happen while you chill.
